In the fall of 2003 Neil Thielke approached Jenn and David George about leading a church plant in Grand Forks, ND. At an Outfitters for Adventure meeting in February, 2004, they told Neil they were ready to commit to it. Then, after several months of preparations, River of Hope Church held its first worship service on Saturday night August 28th, 2004. Four years have transformed the church into a vibrant fellowship with a heart to reach the unchurched people of Grand Forks and UND.
